b) According to Ms Lily Chu, how does Touch Leadership and Mentoring prefer to help troubled teens?
2) Have you confided in your friends or family members about the problems you face in school/ life? Why or why not?
Have you been betrayed by your friends before? If yes, how? (You may change the names of the people involved for privacy)
Yes, i have been betrayed by my school friends who i considered as "good and true friends" in both primary and secondary school. In secondary school, i had 2 good friends who always were with me. The problem between us was that, they did not like me joining with other friends and wanted me to always stay with them only and not go out with other friends. But i could not be like that as i wanted to mix around with everyone. Therefore i still mixed with other friends. And one day, i needed money for my school fees and i asked my mom for that and she gave me. But due to the very difficult situation i was in at that time, before paying my school fees i spent it all. And i did not know what to do the next day when my mother asked me if i have paid the fees. But i told her that i still kept the money and hav not paid yet and she too trusted me. So on that day, when i needed quite a large amount of money, i approached one of my my "true friends" - the ones who ruled me not to mix with others, for it. She said that she will lend me that sum of money but then when the next day she came to school and i asked her, she say she have it with her and she does not want to lend it to me, even knowing that i was in real need. I felt bastard. I had a loose face and it was very embarassing for me. And what's worse is that she cheated me saying that she wil bring but she didn't give and she told me in a rude manner to ask my other friends. And i did ask them and i got the sum i wanted and paid the school fees. Only then i knew who to trust and who not to.

Those 4 rules are
- All groups have to exercise tolerance and restraint
- Keep religion seperate from politics
- Goverment must remain secular
- Maintain the common space that all Singaporeans share
b) In your opinion, how can we maintain a common space in schools?
We should maintain the common space in most of the things we do. One of them is when sharing meal in school. As people have different dietery needs ex. Muslims can't eat pork, Hindus can't eat beef, some Buddhists are vegeterians and other stuff like this also. So therefore as our PM said, there should be a balance in common space- where people of diffrerent religion get together. The same thing applies in other common space also like treating all the different religious student as the same and not being racist. This is how we can maintain a common space.
2) Do you respect other religions? Why or why not? What do you think of children who stay away from their parents' funerals because they believe the traditional rites are against their new religion?
Yes, ofcourse i do respect other religions becasue they are also religions. We shouldn't look down on one's religion as we are all staying in the same country. We can only stay united when each of us respect and treat each and everyone and their religion equally.
I tink it's very bad of those children to stay away from their parent's funeral just because of their traditional rites against their new religion. This is beacuse, however both parent and child are from diffrerent religion, they should respect and be thankful to their parents for bringing them up and not giving up on them when they have converted their religion. Those children are not humans of good soul to me as they are not grateful towards them =X

Their modus operandi is to pose, in most instances, as volunteers from welfare organisations on a project to spruce up the homes of these senior citizens.
1b) What are the Lions Befrienders planning to do ensure the old folks do not get conned again?
They will sends volunteers out to lonely senior citizens, has also alerted those under its charge about these scamsters. They even said that its full-time staff or its experienced volunteers will introduce new volunteers to the senior citizens, to ensure that the old folk recognise the people who will visit them subsequently.
2) Do you like doing social work? Why or why not?
I love doing social work alot. Because i love to help people as i believe that it makes me forget about my own problems and it also makes me happy as i am entertaining other people also. Although doing social work is not a must for everyone, and it's just optional for onself, i am very happy to serve other people in anyway that it is posible for me to to do so. I believe that " If you help someone, the god will help you." (:

Criminals aged 16 and older dealt with adults, and this usually means jail, the cane, or even worse than thses. As for drugs like Ecstasy andKetamine, the nsentence ids up to 202years' jail and 15 strokes of the cane, while for cannabis, heroin and coacaine, adult traffickers face the death penalty. Another worrying trend is that more Singaporeans are arrested for drug crimes on oversease. Between 2002 and 2006, some were
caught red handed in Thailand and Malaysia, where many are now behind bars. These are the two worrying trends about drug trafficking mentioned.
b) Why are the Singaporeans increasingly being used as " drug mules " ?
This is because Singaporeans do not need a visa for many places, and they are also less likely to be checked because of Singapore's reputation for being tough on drugs.
2) What will you do if you find out that one of your friends is selling is selling drugs?
I would tell him/her the concequences of the crime he is doing and try my best to stop him from doing so and if there would be a need to report to his parents, teachers or even the police, without hesitation, i would complain about it. I would make him go for councilling and also i myself would advise him that his future will be destroyed and it would cost him to have a bad reputatuion on himself. And it also would be difficult and might be impossible for him to get job in the future if he has a bad record like this because people will look down on him. Therefore, with him bearing mind in all this, i would try my level best to help him get rid of the trouble he has causing to himself.
How will you react if someone tries to sell you drugs?
I will decline the offer and walk away. If he/she still approaches me to buy the drugs, I would call the police immediately without a minute of hesitation. And i would also complain to the police as it is anti-social and a big crime =)
2) What do you think of the burglars who brazenly break into the stalls?

It is easy to brek into those stalls in the market because, none of them had their roller shutters and locks tampered with. Therefore, the theives got in through the open ceilings, getting a leg up on the pipes or metal bars running along the walls.
1b) What is the Geylang East Central Merchants' Asso ciation going to do about the break-ins?
They held a meeting a week after the July 8 burglary. They will be in touch with the relevant authorities, such as the NEA and the town councils, to look into improving security, possibly by modifying stall layout and design.
2) Wat do you think should be done to tighten the security markets?
You can cheer loud and confidentally if you know the cheers. But at the same time, for youb to be more confident, you should look good. Cheer leading is an expensive sport because for the cheerleaders to look good, they have to buy clothes, hair products, and other dtuff which costs alot. Like the Pom-Poms which cost $50-$70, tailored costumes which exceeds $100, gymnastic workshops, nutritional supplements and vitanmins which costs $50-$130 per person, hair products which exceeds $50 and not forgetrting, the cheerleader's SMILE which is priceless! (: Therefore, Cheerleading IS an expensive sport as it not only imports things from Singapore but also from the oversease like Thaniland and also others.
(b) What makes cheerleading such a tough sport?
The work as for a cheerleader makes it a tough sport because it is physically demanding and they might also get hurt during the practice ( physically). Concussions, sprained ankles, strained muscles and torn hamstrings are the risks these people take to just cheer. Trust and teamwork also are expected to play a part in this job and eveytime they do a stunt they should be fear-free. From all these above stated facts, we should have knew that this job is exrtremely challenging..
What is your opinion of cheerleaders? If given a chance, would you join cheerleading? Why/ why not?
My opinion is that the cheerleaders are very determin and also give their best to cheer as they do so much of work and spent alot of money just for this. Therefore, we should appreciate them.
If given a chance, i would join cheerleading Because it is a very challenging job and there will be alot of up and downs as people might not co-operate at times, you have got to do risky stunts, spent alot of money to attract people and most importantly you should remember the cheers. So therefore i would like to be daring and take up this challenge :p

What are some of the problems involved in separating a conjoined twin?
There will eventually be problems in seperating a conjoined twin as surgeons may most probably end up harming the patients. And even in some cases, one has to sacrifice his life to save another. Even if both survive, one will be let with brain damages or handicapped. So sometimes there will be no quality of life. It's a 50:50 based survival infact. No one, not even the surgeons or doctors know who will survive.
Question 2
If you were a part of a conjoined twin, would you rather stay together with your twin for the rest of your life or would you risk both your lives to go for an operation? Why?
If i were a a part of conjoined twin, i would definately risk my life to go for an operation to get my twin and myself seperated. Because, as for me, it's better to risk my life to get my twin and me to be seperated rather than to stay with he/she forever. If i were not to risk my life, i should stay with my twin forever and things would get very difficult as day passes on. Things become more complicated as one could not move from the other, learn education as an ordinary person, to move themselves to go for their personal reasons and purposes. It's not a blessing neither a curse by god for people to be born as a conjoined twin; it all just happens. You can't even live your life to the fullest if you cant be "YOURSELF" and another is always with you. So it's better to even be handicapped or left with brain damages after being seperated from your twin.
