Q 1)
How does the treatment
programme of the Singapore Prison Service help sex offenders?

The treatment programme of the Singapore Prision prevents repeat crimes by those offenders who are likely to re-offend again. It also helps them to leran about the way they think and how their actions flow from this. This awaress the convicts about the concequences of repeating their crime. I'm sure that this programme would be useful to them and might save their future.

Q 2)
Do you think that sex offenders should be given a second chance in the society? State your reasons.

I think sex offenders should be given a second chance. Because, all humans do incorrect things and then they realise their mistake and reform. Sex offenders are also in that category. I'm referring to people who were so desperate and went in an incorrect path, not people who do all these bad things for fun and purposely. In my opinion, we should never look down on reformed sex offenders. In fact we should talk to them and change them furthermore to a good person. We should not juz spill out words from our mouth and disgrace them. We should be in their shoes and think how one shoukd have felt. The government and the society fails when a sex offender is looked down. The reason is because only the particular society of one(who did the mistake) is being disgraced when he is affected. So we should do our part by helping them to stay away from troubles...That would be much appreciated.. "p
